At weekend I went out for a meal with some work friends. Usually they don't see me making much of an effort, my work uniform makes sure of that! So I thought I'd dress up and even did matching nails. Recently I finally ordered some Bundle Monster Plates. About time I know right? I know they've just released another version, but I preferred the older designs so chose them instead.
For a first attempt at using them, I don't think I did too bad. There's a lot of room for improvement, but I really liked how they turnt out. I had everyone looking at them by the end of the night!
The base coat I used was two coats of Barry M Peach Melba. This is one of their new shades and I love it. Perfect for summer.
I used MUA black nail polish as the stamping colour. I still need to find polishes that stamp well. This polish worked, but as you can see, not everything stamped perfectly.
I used the BM18 stamping plate. I loved the lace effect to it and so many people keep asking where I've had them done. Stamping plates are definitely the way forward for a professional manicure look.
What do you think?
Have you tried out this colour or have Bundle Monster Plates?
For people who use stamping plates, which polishes do you use to stamp with?

I love the peachy shade you used as a background and the lace pattern looks fabulous :)
Alexandra - Thank you :)
Lou - Barry M are 3 for 2 at the minute in Superdrug and Boots!
Tat - Thank you!
Rebecca - They're an excellent price on Amazon!
Emma - They're on Amazon. The set I have comes with 21 different plates, or the new set has 25.
Marie - Thank you!
Very pretty! :) I imagine this would make a great dress too, this color combined with this black pattern on the bottom! :) x
Looks lovely hun. Peach Melba looks so nice on your skintone - it looked absolutely awful on me! x
Wow, your nails look amazing. I can't believe I had never heard of these plates. Definitely going to investigate right now!

Stavroula - Totally agree! This would look fab on a dress!
Zoe - That's a shame. I know some colours look awful on me too though.
Erin - They are so worth getting!
Emily - I keep eyeing up the fruit loop actually! It will probably be added to my collection very soon! The MUA is great for only £1, I've used it with only one coat before too.
