Hello Beauties!
I want to share with you something my lovely Dad made for me! My nail polish collection continues to expand and so I didn't like the storage I was using. It was basically just in a box. This made it quite hard to see all the colours at a glance and meant that I kept forgetting to use colours.
I have been watching nail polish storage posts on YouTube and found that a lot of people stored their nail polishes on tiers. This meant you can see all the polish colours a lot easier! I looked online for similar storage designs and they were a rip off. They were only made of plastic but some went up to £40. No way was I going to pay for that.
I showed my dad some of the storage ideas and asked if he could make anything similar. He's a bit insane and can seem to make anything you need! Good old dad! :) Here's what he came up with.
It's amazing! No, seriously, it is! It's so much better than I thought it would be and took no time at all to make! It's made from UPVC and the tiers for the shelves are made from polystyrene that we were throwing out ! :) It may not look like much now, but it does with polish on it.
Ahhh I love it! It is soo much easier to see the different colours now! It also looks very pretty on my desk rather than hidden in a box! I was thinking of painting it to match my room, but I thought it might be easier to see the colours if it was just left white.
Each shelf holds up to eleven polishes, so it can hold forty four polishes in total. As you can see I still have one shelf which is nearly empty, however I'm sure it won't take long to fill :)
What do you ladies think to it?
Has anyone else made or bought anything similar? I'd love to see it :)

Oh this is great and it was so nice of your dad to make it! My nail polish is all in a box at the moment so it's not ideal but I'm definitely going to look into creating something similar to this :-)

This is really good idea for storing nail polishes, he did a good job! Mine's just in my dressing table drawer! x

Wow, really like this idea. I had thought of buying one of the plastic ones for the wall but even the largest holding 90 bottles wouldn't cop with my collection.

I put mine in a box - but to recognize my polishes, I use a huge dotting tool and dot the color on top of the polish brush, so when I look down I can see the color ;)
